Building great software means constantly tweaking and improving. We fit our product to the user’s need, we obsess over our own productivity, and we adopt agile processes to help our team deliver robust software. But what about the environment in which we work? Can we optimize that to draw out our best?
Atomic Object has asked itself this question again and again, experimenting constantly over the last 12 years. We’ve tried ideas to enhance our engineering culture, build strong bonds between team members, and increase business alignment across the company. We keep what works and throw out what doesn’t.
Mike Marsiglia and I gave a talk at GLSEC where we shared what’s worked, what’s failed, and where we’re still experimenting.
To see what the talk was all about, take a look at our slides.
