Brittany Hunter named Managing Partner in Atomic’s Grand Rapids Office

Brittany Hunter is Atomic Object’s newest managing partner at our Grand Rapids office.

She will join Jeff Williams, Mike Marsiglia, and Shawn Crowley on the office’s management and leadership team, which conducts sales, manages staff and client relationships, and develops new business.

Hunter’s career at Atomic has spanned eight years and three roles. She joined Atomic as one of the early software designers in 2011 before she became the company’s first delivery lead in 2015.

Hunter says this diversity of roles in the company has set her up uniquely for success in the new position.

“When I’m working with customers to plan and scope a project, I understand pretty quickly what they need from a design and delivery side,” she said. “When I’m managing people, having served in the different roles allows me to empathize with the constraints our makers have.”

Atomic Object CEO and Co-founder Carl Erickson says Hunter’s promotion represents continuing a tradition at Atomic of training software makers to lead sales and management teams.

“Brittany couldn’t be more suited for the managing partner role at Atomic,” he said. “She lives by our ‘How can we help?’ and consultative sales approach.”

Hunter says rising to a managing partner at Atomic is an opportunity in stewardship for a company and team she cares deeply about.

“It’s a huge and exciting responsibility,” she said. “Setting up opportunities with clients for product success, and then assigning those projects to Atoms who can learn through executing on these amazing products—that drives who I am and what I do.”
